As you visit Silver Leaf Books, you may notice that there have been some changes to the website. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you some of the exciting changes and new features that you may be able to explore:

1. Where is the Books section? Our original Books section has been broken down to allow you to find what you are looking for more quickly. Originally, there was the one section, and you had to scroll through it to find the New Releases, Current Titles, and Upcoming Titles (SLB Pipeline). Now, the hyperlinks at the top of the screen will bring you to sections dedicated to each aspect, and also has an easy to navigate feature that will allow you to find whatever you are looking for in each section. These new sections include:

Current Titles: A complete listing of all Silver Leaf Books books, broken down by Author, Series Name, and Title.

New Releases: A listing of all new Silver Leaf Books books published within the past year.

Coming Soon: The SLB Pipeline, providing you will insight toward titles that are expected to be released within the next calendar year, including sneak peaks at cover designs, and anticipated release dates when they become available.

Sample Chapters: Want to look inside the book, read a few pages, and then decide whether you want to buy it or not? The Sample Chapters section allows you to download a PDF file and read excerpts from each book.

Book Reviews: Tired of scrolling through the Community section and trying to find the Reviews? So are we! This new section will allow you to read not only the Fan Reviews and title book reviews from professional reviewers, but it will also link you with Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com to see what others have said about the books (and allow you to post your own reviews, too!).

2. On the left hand menu box, you will also see a few new items, and a few that have been removed (other than "Books," all removed items are now at the bottom of every page of this website). The new links include:

Author Sites: Another section removed from the Community section, this will provide you with links directly to the Author and Artists websites, portfolios, or email addresses (depending upon the individual). You also will have easy links to check out the author's / artist's pages here on the Silver Leaf Books website, as well as explore any of the products that the individual has worked on.

Products / Catalog: This exciting feature is currently under development, and will be rolled out soon. Up to this point, if you wanted to purchase a book from SLB, you either were redirected to our EBay Store, directed to call the SLB Call Center, mail your order to our P.O. Box, or use another online vendor (Amazon or Barnes & Noble). Now, you will be able to purchase what you want right here in the SLB website, which will include a variety of promotions and special offers for people who utilize this site.

Charity Programs: Silver Leaf Books and author Clifford B. Bowyer have teamed up to offer a fundraising activity for schools. We have promoted this to local schools with great anticipation, and are now announcing it to roll out the program nationwide. Check this section for details.

3. Community: The Community section has also undergone some changes, taking certain items out to make navigation of the site easier, but we also added a few new things for you as well:

SLB Insider: The SLB Insider is an Author Interview link that allows you to read a transcript between the publisher and our authors about the books.

Contests: Silver Leaf Books has often sponsored contests and drawings at local conventions. Now, we have created an actual "Contest" section where there will be a variety of contests, beginning with the "Draw Braksis Contest." Go to the Contests section for more details.
