"An Apocalyptic Military / Science Fiction Thriller" - Book Review:
When the Sky Fell by The Old Schoolhouse
If you're like most people, you enjoy stories about the
end of the world. Come on, admit it! I'm not a psychologist (only the
son of two shrinks!), so I won't pretend to know why, but there seems
to be something in the human mind that is utterly fascinated with the
circumstances of our demise! Most of the time, apocalyptic stories are
nothing more than excuses for gratuitous destruction....
"Faithful Sci-Fi Fans will Love this Space Opera" - Book Review: When
the Sky Fell by Blog Days of Summer
After a heart pounding prologue I connected with THE
SKY CHRONICLES: WHEN THE SKY FELL characters right away. The two main
characters Yamane and Kershaw were the kind of men I like to think
hold high ranks in our very own US Military. They are reflective men
with a strong sense of patriotism and a great love of duty, their
country, and their crew.....

"Local Author Shares his Inspiration" - Article: When the Sky Fell by
Almaden Times
What would we do if 1,000 alien
ships headed toward earth to attack us? How would we react? Would we
stop them? These are questions swirling in the mind of sci-fi author
Mike Lynch. "Ever since I was a little kid, I loved science fiction -
movies, TV shows," Lynch said. "It's something I know a lot about and
have an interest in...
"Mike and Brandon Struck Gold with When the Sky Fell" - Book Review:
When the Sky Fell by Digital Dragon
When the Sky Fell is the
first published novel of co-writers Mike Lynch and Brandon Barr,
published just a couple months ago by Silver Leaf Books. It is the
story of Commander Frank Yamane as he struggles against the Deravan
Armada for earth’s very existence. Through this mix, we get space
battles, political intrigue, alien races, and a cast of characters you
won’t soon forget.....

"An Intriguing Read that will keep the Reader Engaged and
Introspective" - Book Review: The Mills of God by Galacticum
Mills has suspense to
spare and the mystery is not one you're likely to guess to soon. There
is also a good helping of poetry sprinkled in to spice things up.
The Mills of God is an intriguing read whose suspense, philosophy
and speculative aspects will keep the reader engaged and
introspective....
"An Original Thriller that Moves Between Two Time Periods Blending
Reincarnation and Modern High Tech" - Book Review: The Mills of God by
Breeni Books
Justin Smith has written a thriller that moves between
two time periods and eventually weaves them together. It seemed to
move a little slowly through the first half, but this was probably
necessary to lay down the groundwork for the intricate storyline. But
overall I enjoyed The Mills of God and I give Smith much credit for
devising an original idea for a novel. It was interesting....

"Project ULF is a Novel with Pulp Flavor and Flair!" - Book Review:
Project U.L.F. by Press & Sun-Bulletin
"Project U.L.F." doesn't concern itself with being
anything more than what it is: action-adventure fun. Clark utilizes
standard science fiction elements well, crafting a story reminiscent
of "Aliens," though it's less politically inclined than Heinlein's
"Starship Troopers." In a narrative that bounds, Clark creates worlds
that are rough and gritty, populated by extraterrestrials not
interested in....
