What is Fan Art?

Fan Art is artwork based on someone else's creations, including but not limited to characters or scenes from our novels, book cover art, and fan representations of these creations. Postings of Fan Art in no way represent the descriptions and views of the authors, artists or any representative of Silver Leaf Books, and are solely the interpretation of the fan submitting the artwork.

The guidelines to post Fan Art:

• We will only accept Fan Art within the Fantasy, Horror or Science Fiction genre!
• Max 20 pictures per fan at a time (additional images from the same source will bump prior submissions from the site).
• For legal reasons: Any complaint what-so-ever from a copyright/trademark stakeholder will render a complete deletion of the gallery!
• Silver Leaf Books will NOT be held responsible for anything you put on your page. Silver Leaf Books will not be held responsible for any inconvenience that may occur if your gallery gets deleted, stolen, abused or is otherwise unavailable to you.
• Only people who provide a FULL legal name (First names are allowed to be abbreviated or initialed) will be permitted to have a Gallery page under the Silver Leaf Books Fan Art section. Shared galleries are not permitted unless more than one individual participated in the creation of the art, in which case a gallery for the combined "team" will be created. The full name of all participants must be submitted..
• Certain things will never be allowed within any area of Silver Leaf Books. These include (but are not limited to): Porn, Celebrity art, direct tracings or copies, abstract art, and stick-figure art.
• Don't swear, post anything offensive, or do anything that makes your Silver Leaf Books space unpleasant to look at. If it wouldn't be appropriate in a public forum, it's not appropriate here.
• Fan art is allowed only in the SLB Fan Art section. Fan fiction is NEVER allowed. Copies of existing images are NOT fan art - they are copies and they are NOT allowed in any area of Silver Leaf Books.
• All submissions for Fan Art will become the property of Silver Leaf Books, LLC.
